4 Things I’d Change About Modern Society!

What would you change about modern society?

I love modern society, but like everything else, it has its downfalls. These are my top four ideas for change:

1. Understanding True Equality

Throughout many generations, women have fought tirelessly for their rights, and progress has been made. It’s incredible to see how far women have come in their fight for rights and respect! However, there seems to be a growing misunderstanding of what true equality means. I’ve noticed a trend where women and men are against each other, leading to unnecessary division. I’ve met self-proclaimed feminists still place blame solely on women for bad dates with men, which undermines the essence of gender equality. I often hear men dismissing feminism as if it’s all a load of nonsense, which gets under my skin! On the other hand, I’m heartened by the increasing awareness of mental health, particularly for men. Yet, I often come across distressing videos on social media, where men are ridiculed for expressing their emotions. Can’t we just see eye-to-eye as humans and lift each other up?

2. Generational Harmony over Mockery

Social media brought us closer together, but it’s also sparked these never-ending battles about which generation is the best. Seriously, can’t we just have some good-natured jokes and let it be? We should be banding together, not tearing each other down. The world’s changing, and it’s up to all of us to roll with it. Embrace the differences, adapt, and help build a future where we’re all on the same team. Let’s break the cycle of criticizing the younger generation, and instead, let’s guide and support them.

3. Ensuring Security in an Age of Innovation

I’m about all the cool technology making our lives easier, but there’s a downfall too. Scammers and fraudsters are taking advantage of all these innovations, and it’s just not fair! We need to be smart about it and find ways to keep ourselves and our communities safe. Progress is great, but people shouldn’t be able to make scam accounts easily, it puts people in more paranoia.

4. Treating Mental Health with Respect

I’m thrilled that mental health is finally getting the attention it deserves. But, here’s the catch – it’s not a trend or a hashtag; it’s real life. I hate to see people self-diagnosing without seeking proper help. That’s not how it works. Mental health is complex, and it takes time and expert guidance to understand it fully. Let’s show some respect for ourselves and others, and encourage those struggling to reach out to professionals for support.

We can make a difference by standing together, understanding one another, and being a force for positive transformation. I believe in our collective power to shape a better society, and it all starts with us.
